Hi all, some news about the Saturday evening do at BBWF.

I am arranging a Hog Roast with the Hotel which comes to £18 a head. More details on this to follow.

To make things easy the price of the Hog Roast will be added to your room bill automatically, so £18 if you booked single occupancy and £36 if you booked double. You will receive vouchers for the Hog Roast when you check in.

HOWEVER if you are staying but DON'T WANT THE MEAL then let me or the hotel know well in advance (i.e. in the next 2 weeks) and we can take it off no problem. We need to know in advance so we can cater for the right numbers.

If you are not staying but do want the hog roast we need money up front, this can be done via paypal or a cheque, please PM me for details of how to pay. This will have to be paid for by the 16th of June so we can finalise numbers with the hotel. If you have paid you will get your vouchers on the day.

...and salad to spread it on.

Don't worry, there will be veggie burgers available for the veggies. We just have to let them know how many (one so far.)

The hog roast comes with the usual accompaniments, i.e. a salad buffet bar and bread etc.

There is no pudding included in that price - I was thinking about having a Wedge Bakeoff Competition, and we get to eat it all at the end. A prize goes to the best Wedge-themed cake!

I have been finding out about the venue too - we'll be in the Bronte Suite. This has a PA and a CD player will be provided so dig out all yer '80's classic compilations and bring them along. I have some disco lights but if you also have some then can you let me know - if you have space to bring them?

We'll need volunteers for setting up the room after 12:30 on the day - please PM me if you (or WAGS) can help with this.

Thanks for arranging this Adam. Although £18 per person is a bit more than I wanted to pay, both the wife and myself will be having the hog roast and are looking forward to it.
