Hi Guys

This is the TVR Cerbera advertisement I made a little while ago for some coursework, I'm just posting the link to it here incase some of you didn't get to see it.

Also, I don't know if you've all joined up - but there's a Facebook group for Cerbera owners if anyone is interested. There's 100 members so far, which is not bad when considering there's supposedly less than 400 of them around.

that's my car, before the act exhausts, had some custom cans on.

Echo that. I picked mine up from aservice a couple of weeks back and heard it being tested. I realised it was loud but you sort of get used to it from inside

That 4.5 sounded good! It's inspired me to try and hear what mine sounds like at full chat..... Kev sent me a short link to me and Gazzab pulling out of a car park and it sounded good - perhaps I should find a quiet spot and film a full beans take off - but with the crackles on the way down too? Or get a trusted someone to do a drive by?

I remember years ago, whilst waiting for the recovery truck 'cos a mates bike had a puncture, I let him ride mine up and down the road so I could hear what it sounded like..... Whilst riding / driving your own vehicle, you get one impression, but it sounds totally different on a "drive past" !

Mike I have a vid camera or three at home, we could try a film 'take off' vid.
I stuck a cheap one onto the rear off cerb before recent engine work.
This is what it sounds like if you hang your head between the exhausts....

Wow! that sounded awesome, how come the camera didn't just pick up all the windnoise?

No idea - I made a crude mount and located the camera on the rear number plate down lighter (mine has the angled rear plate). I have improved the mount now so as to lose the wobble but havent used any revs when filming.

Theres more than "supposedly 400" around. there was a thread on here recently that showed 700 plus mot's in 2008/09. An no doubt another couple of hundred "garage babies".

Agree. I let a trusted mate have a dabble in mine not long after I got it. Told him to go up to roundabout on a DC then back again the other way so he could have some fun and I could have a listen. He should have been gone two minutes. About 10 minutes later he's not come back. I'm getting proper worried so jog off to find him to find him jogging back the other side. I fear the worst and my guts are turning to mush - til I see his big grin. Turned out he'd stalled it and didn't know how to fire it up again. Pressed every button in sight but by the time he got to the right one the immobiliser had kicked in (I still had the keys). Was causing a nice tailback but fortunately a friendly cop was behind him and he kept guard til I got back. Still smiling about it now.

My source was a article on the TVR's in the Classic Car Magazine, was the November issue i think, or there-abouts. I'll try and dig it out and check!
