Value my FTO

After much thought I have decided that I need a mark 1 mx-5 again!!! now before I start looking for one I need to value my FTO, where is the best place to find out? Or shall I just stick it up on ebay and hope for the best.....

Surely this is a bit obvious but regardless first look here and see how yours compares to what's already for sale:

Then ask on here because they know about FTOs:

(then knock £500 off because they all massively over value their cars)

Then put the specs up on here (age, mileage, mods (i.e. has it got a s**t body kit), colour, damage etc) and I'll tell what I'd sell it for.

Would you be interested in a mk2 mx5? My girlfriend is selling her mk2 1.6 this week :-) It's BRG fitted with height adjustable coilovers, Racing Beat adjustable droplinks, PiperX induction kit and 15" Team dynamics multispoke alloys (Jet I believe). It's an S-reg and only done 45k miles, think she's looking for around the £3.8k mark as it's in good condition compared to some of the others out there.

As for the FTO, mostly depends on condition because there are some real rubbish examples going for silly money and dragging down the value of the decent models. I know this as trying to justify selling mine after spending money getting it to a good condition again

I have had an mx-5 before and loved it!! only sold it because it was an s-spec and was slightly unsuitable for my commute, 4000rpm=70mph, sports exhaust, lowered etc....big mistake letting it go.

The fto is an M reg, 90000 miles, no stty bodykit, only mods are, de-cat, blueflame exhaust and apexi filter. Plus 18" alloys.....sorry I am after a mark 1, not 2.....
