So... art for homes. We're talking large pictures (4ft squared plus).

What's flicking your switch at the moment? Pictures please people!

I bought this for my wife for her birthday a couple of years ago. Maybe not quite as big as you are talking....

I have this one in my study at home:

...also want this one by the same artist:

Artist's name is Mark Churms. His catalog is here:
http://www.markchurms.com/

The one I purchased was the painted/retouched version. Artist was nice enough to send along a personal note (he was doing a special painting for the US troops when I ordered and couldn't devote the time for my retouch right away. I told him that was just fine, to take care of the troops first. He sent the personal thank you for me waiting)

Mark does a lot of research prior to painting. Clicky - here is the page on the Bannockburn print...

ETA, what my piece actually looks like (it came framed and has the giclee with brushstrokes - it is mistaken, by the casual observer, as an original)

This is currently on my lounge wall along with another at the other end of the room.

Both are 4x4ft and look stunning when spotlit.

Rollin, I am in two minds about Ray Caesar's stuff. I kind of like the weirdness of it but his prices are IMHO too high for what it is.

Don, the limited edition prints we have are over 4ft*3ft. I don't like the small picture on a large wall look!

I like Vettriano's stuff. And to keep it petrolheaded wink we have a print of this on the study wall.

I feel the same. Although stunning images, they are essentially limited edition prints for upwards of £5000.

Good news - I got my print of Bluebird in a cash and carry for £30, including the frame biggrin
