Had the XK for a month now, wow, not so go-Kartish as the Chimaera but what a car! I love the confidence that it will start when I push the button, had massive problems with the clicky starter on the Chim til I changed the starter motor. I think the top end power is better than the TVR but can't get used to the flappy paddles, need some lessons.....

I have one problem with the hood, when I look from the driver's seat at the nearside seal with the bodywork I can see gaps, albeit small, been into dealers twice now and still not sorted. They claim its a torn seal but I believe it's adjustment. When viewed from the outside the offside is absolutely flush with the body whereas on the nearside there is a very slight curve.

Has anyone had similar problems?

You had a TVR and you're worried about gaps?!

I get your point but having spent as much as I have and it's still under warranty I'll get it sorted if it kills me....

Fair point. I don't think I've ever been the lucky recipient of a warrnty but I think the general idea is that you dump it back and say 'fix it'.

Does it leak or is there wind noise? May have been caught up in something in it's early days. If not go take a look at another XK Conv.

Hi Pasco, got rid of the old git, pic of car now loaded, although its from the sales ad as not taken any yet with my own plate on. Hopefully with summer starting this weekend I will get some on here soon.
