I put this down over the weekend:

As this is waxed will I be able to stain it? I'm assuming not?

Cheers,

No the stain will sit on top and not sink in.

So, if you rub it, it will just rub off and be no help at all.

Leave it a year.

We put ours down last year and left it, this year we have done it with a decking cleaner then a clear decking oil and it looks really good, could do with another coat really as two are advised on the tin and i only had enough time/motivation/oil to do it once.

Why didn't one of you have a word with the idiot I bought my house from? He made a complete pig's ear of the decking. Edging it with rotten sleepers painted blue was a nice touch rolleyes
