Is there a Bible?

I have the Chimaera Bible that Steve Heath did and was wondering if similar exists for the Cerbera?

Would like to know my way around the car, did my apprenticeship as a mechanic so can twirl a spanner reasonably well. I want to renew the clutch fluid (see previous post) and think the/a Bible may be a good place to start.

You don't need pics.


Remove the F2 panel - one near the windscreen.
in Driver side front wing near the airbox you'll see a round cover with 2 self tappers in it and loads of silicone sealant, thats the clutch reservoir cover. It's easier to get to if you remove the airbox. Cut away the silicone and undo the self tappers.
On the same side up near the windscreen you'll see a Braided hose with a nipple on the end, thats the clutch bleed nipple.
Top up the reservoir with fluid, attach rubber bleed pipe to the nipple and bleed in the normal way. I'm assuming you know how to bleed something?

Yes, bled enough stuff over the years! It was the locations I was referring to.

I spoke to RP and the slave does suffer from heat soak, and once it boils it will happen time after time. I also had to check the levels and bleed it. Locate the black "knuckle" next to the drivers airbox. Remove top, Check no black bits in, remove if there is. Bleed system, I did on mine and the oil that came out was horrible colour. Nice new 5.1 in there. Remember watch your paint and seal knuckle back down, as notorious for letting water in.

FWIW I've found Duck Tape to be equally as good at keeping the breeze and dirt out of the clutch master cylinder area but much easier to remove when it comes to opening it again.
