It's been dry for a long while.

The house sparrows have found our estate and are building nests in the gutters of both our home and that of our neighbours.

I don't begdrudge them the nesting site: we feed them and like them even if they do poop all over everything.

But the silly feckers are going to get washed out with the first good summer rainstorm.

I realise this will cause the species to evolve into one that nests in houses but not in gutters but it's a bit sad.

Silly feckers had the chance of one of many bird-boxes too...

I don't know. There's just no telling some birds is there.
