Yep, the 635 is off gaining a freshly minted MOT and then the old girl will be pimped to the highest bidder. Sorry to see it go but off-roading beckons!Had a look on eBay, and whilst there are fobs for £30, the problem is pairing the damn things with the car.

After the BMW has gone, lift kits and underbody protection with the knobbilist (is that a word) will be order of the day. Been competing in a mate's LR90, and looking forward to driving my own vehicle! Still, haven't deserted my beloved 6cyl petrol engines, the Cherokee has a little ol' 4.0 lump - still fuel economy is (marginally) improved!downthepub said:

Is it a face lift 1997 model? If it is your only option for coding it is the dealer if it's not a face lift there is another way........
It is a facelift model... Apparently with the older ones there's a little key programming dance you can do with opening and closing doors, but not on the newer ones
