Could someone help me out here.
My mrs had a crash a few weeks ago. The insurance have come back and said she is 95% responsible. We live in a small country and both cars are insured with the same company. Is it normal practice to make someone 95% responsible? surely it should be 50/50 or 70/30 but 95/5? Makes me think they are just trying to shaft both policy holders, blame both of them and put up both premiums? Anyone know what is normal practice, seems to me like 95% may as well be 100% but they just do the 5% to screw the other party as well? cheers.
