Urgent Advice on a Boxster 2.5

Why do I hate my car so much?? It seems to spend more time in the garage than being driven

My new problem of the day is a chirping noise coming from the engine, the local dealer has told me it is the bearing on the left bank cam. It's a common fault they say!

Has anyone had the same problem, if so what was the fix, a new head and cams @ 4K or is there another solution..

Please help as my Porker is R.I.P. at present.
