Anyone shed an educated recomendation ?

Listened to both the B/W zepplin and the Pioneer system back to back and the Pioneer has better functions for sound and sounds meatier but just sounds like it doesn't like bass.
And the Zepplin mini has a good sound (in a different way) clearer but doesn't like being turned up too loud.
Listened to the Bose 2nd generation and it sounds good, prob better than both the above but i still feel i want more ???
Help and education is appreciated guys !

Have a listen to the Vita Audio R4 and if you dont want CD the R2. Both have DAB built in also
