I have just replaced mine as part of my V8S rebuild.
My concern is that when they are bolted up in their natural position the gearbox is very slightly off central - to get the gearbox mount bolts in I had to put a scissor jack up the side of the gearbox to push it across.
The problem with this as I see it is that now the engine mounts are under sideways tension - I am considering packing washers between the mount and chassis to allow them to be bolted up in their 'natural rest' position if that makes sense, the jury is still out but what do you think as an idea?
One of my old mounts was also split by the way.

18 months ago I had SC Power's fast road mounts fitted to my 500(the black ones). Had them both replaced at last service - I saw them they were knackered!
The previous mounts were the standard ones which seem to have been on the car for years. I can't find a replacement pair being fitted since new - I have a full documented history! I've gone back to the standard ones which are half the price of SC's.

these are the ones that only lasted one service...perhaps i need the heat shields,i will look at the ones they have taken off before i invest in expensive mounts (if they are an annual replacement)

The Poly ones can be vulnerable to heat...My poly mounts melted on the dyno four days after fitting them, so switched back to rubber but I use the SC_Power metal anti shear shoes...seems to cope with 420 lb/ft. allright mark

Also melted 2 top poly wishbone mounts at the same time as well

There are some inferior rubber mounts that have been around for a while, several reports of them falling apart quickly in the past. TBH don't really know how you can tell them from the good ones??...
Obviously as time goes on and these kind of parts get 'greyer' the risk of poor pattern parts goes up. At least with Poly-Mounts you know where they come from and can do something about curing any problems?

Thats a fair point but I did not have much choice on mine as
I had a lot of pipes (4 into 1) and space is at a premium down
there.
I'm planning on checking the temp when it's all running with a lazer temp
gun.
Please note - before spend shoots me down, this post is irrelevant as it's on a wedge but it's posted as I used the same mounts and have exhausts very close
