Hey all,

I've not really been in here much lately as the wedge was at the back of my mind tucked for a while in the garage whilst the house rebuild took place but for those of you who don't know I took her to rt racing for a few jobs including new rack, engine mounts, rear bearings and so on....long bloomin way to take her but only heard great things about them and he has been really helpful with advice over the last few years!!

Anyhow, with the sun out I am missing her so much!haven't driven it since march!

Enjoy your motors boys!!

Hi Matt

Been wedgeless since the back end of last year, and i have been like a bear with a sore head.

But the new wedge is all but in the bag and it will be off to Richard for some work to be carried out.

Since i entered wedge ownership i have called Richard for bits and bobs and sometimes just for a bit of advice and he has always been a great help, top guy with a wealth of knowledge.

Looks like a good long summer may be on the cards Matt so you will have plenty of time to give the wedge a good blast.

I've been wedgeless all winter (went in in December and got the car back briefly - mostly finished- for two events in May) and have just got it back virtually finished bar a few little mainly cosmetic things.

Mine was supposed to be a "cheap" re-commission and blow over respray (it had been off the road since 1997 till I aquired it last year) but turned into a full blown restoration. So I feel your pain guys.

Glad to have the wedge back and its where I would have had it ideally next year now, but its kinda hit the budgets hard, will all seem worth it when i'm on the London-Brighton run tomorrow though!

Hi All
I bought my 400sx in january of this year and did 45 miles befor the clutch gave up which brought forward plans for her much
needed restoration So work completed so far.Engine rebiult by TVR POWER with more power in mind so inlet and exhaust ported and an 885 cam fitted.
Gearbox rebiult at brandshatch,Steering rack reconditioned, new polybushes replaced on steering and suspension through out,new alloy radiator with twin fans and silcon hoses through out.
Servo was shot but now rebiult as is the master cylinder.
Complete body and engine bay restoration, once all the work is completed the SX will be transported up to Dom at TVR POWER for a change of ECU and live mapping on their dyno facility to take full advantage of thier engine.
From there the car will be sent to the guys at D&C TRIM for new interior, hood and boot retrim,so hoping all goes to plan im still looking at another two months befor i get her back.

Regards Chappers
