Was on the M42 in a crash induced jam tonight and pulled up alongside one. The chap said it was only the 3rd one made and had spent the day at Bruntingthorpe. It sounds like Thor's guts after a thermonuclear curry and is "rather fun".

Thumbs up to the driver for being chatty. Bet he had more fun on the way home than I did!

I still get over why they did that thing with the goggly headlights. It would be perfect. But it's not, it's like Kate moss with two of Gordon Brown's glass eyes.

So i'd have a Weismann MF5.

i agree with the headlights, its the only thing letting the car down. but tbh i dont think the lights on the Weismann look that good either...

i agree with the headlights, its the only thing letting the car down. but tbh i dont think the lights on the Weismann look that good either...

Didn't they rectify the problem with the old new-Beetle headlights a few years ago?

I thought they replaced them with units from the Mini which meant that they didn't need to place them on so wonkily to get the light in the right spot.

ETA: They did...






Love the car, love what they've done with the rear screen - not sure about those wheels though.
