Seems like a bit of a fool, no sympathy from me. Who ignores parking tickets if you were getting one every single day you went to work!

Can't get blood from a stone - if she's skint she'll never pay it back and simply declare bankrupt to avoid it...

If she had a Transit van, caravan and a wee pony she could have parked anywhere for free!!!!!!

She's not skint; she's one of my O/H's best customers. Whenever I've been in shop (Cruise on Union Street) she's always there.

Silly girl.

I agree with you

Absolutely no symapthy - easy way out again for somebody who has blatantly ignored over a lengthy period of time the requirment to pay up like the rest of us do.

Why should the majority of us who are reasonably law abiding citizens have to stump up for our parking and speeding fines ( and I have had a few...) and she gets get off with it.

She has employment - even if it takes years to pay off I would arrest a portion of her wages .

Did you just look at my profile to know my name or should I actually know you? Just checking not acusing you of stalking me or anything!

But yes even if it takes years why should she be able to get away with it just because she took it to ridiculous levels. Doesn't say much for the council dept in charge of staying on top of this sort of thing though. They should have been doing this more than a year ago.

lol i work on North Silver Street, I cant say i've actually seen the beetle around... frown maybe this all happened before i started working or i just didnt pay the attention. The thing is, if you can't afford to pay for parking then simply dont take your car, or use a park and ride!!! She is a very silly girl indeed considering there's the Golden Square carpark, who if you ask politely and nicely can give you a space at least 3/5 days of the week. Or there's a retail park in berryden... park there and walk to work... I did that for a while when i was skint... There's also the denburn which is £8 a day or £6 a day if you go back to top up!!! IMO she's just being very silly and being a quite a spoil sport! I would have thought that the company would have noticed she was bringing in parking tickets every day, why didnt the law firm inquire about it and try and help her?

It's mind boggling isn't it? It wouldn't surprise me if she's got another £18k on credit cards. She comes across as the type to be up to her eyes in debt.

On a similar note, I was walking through old Aberdeen area the other day when I came across a car mounted on the kerb, on double yellows.
Look at the dashboard and someone had left a note on it.
It said;
"Sorry I've left the car here. I cannot get the car moving, will be back later to collect it"

hehe

Probably were. laugh
Just trying to avoid a ticket.
But it was a strange place to stop, was at a set of lights, basically on the corner.
