Been out playing in the sunshine today and rolling thunder is going great so I thought i would post a couple of pics just to make you office dwellers jealous. Still need to drop the back end an inch or so but keep forgetting.

Accidentally left a number 11 calling card outside my nephews house when he said 'give it some' as I was leaving. Childish I know,

Safety aspect aside, it looks soooo much better without the roll hoop

Nice wedge. I'm jealous that I'm not out in mine today. Welded to the laptop again!!

I'm sure if you drive quick enough, the down force from the SEAC spoiler will push your rear suspension down an inch !! wink

I had one of those in yellow , bought it new in 2004. Awesome machine, not an R1 or Blade beater on the track but certainly better on the roads. Cost me £8000 and I cashed it in after 9 months to buy my first Tiv

Here are a couple of mine fresh out of the spray shop/restorers last night.

Should be fun driving it in the London-Brighton on Sunday (if not too wet)

Norman
(P.S. I will have clean tyres by Sunday!)

The Tiv shot? No...its the council offices (or similar) in Hertford. Just before a drive out with lots of like minded road warriors! wink

I think It's ok for bikes to appear in the Wedge forum now & again...

Wedge TVR's & Triumph 955i Daytona's...a perfect 'British' mix! biggrin

Wayne, as my wife is French, I get the meaning. The answer is too much and if I don't tell you the wife won't find out.

As posted previously, the car was a curate's egg. Originally looked presentable, but on detailed investigation, which would not have been discovered at the side of the road, the car needed the rebuild due to TVR's original poor manufacturer and previous owners messing around. Fortunately I now know a decent and reputable car restoration/engineering firm who have treated the car as an engieering project. They have rebuilt it as maybe it should have been put together in the first place. There are some niggles remaining, including poor oil pressure - possibly worn pump gears, hydraulic power steering - probably replaced with electric, increased mechanical engine noise over 3,000 rpm - possible oil pressure again, but nothing seems amiss other than the noise.
