Whilst on a Sat. afternoon drive I popped into Peter Smith's to have a look round for new toys. One of the staff mentioned that they've already sold a (green) Typhon, with supercharger, sequential box, the lot. From the way he was talking it sounds like the owner's already got it. Anyone know if this is the case? And how many more do TVR have to sell before losing any weight/whatever penalties at Le Mans?

Doubt it.

The only built green typhon is the factory demo car that is being tweeked at the mo so is in bits.

The next car off the line is the orange one. The rest arent in build yet. The list takes the factory right through to the end of 2005.

I thought that in order for it to be a Typhon, it has to have the supercharger and the sequential box?

With just the sequential, it's a T440R, and with no sequential and no supercharger, it's a T400...

Or am I wrong?

I get confused over it all... when I can afford one I'll figure the details out more precisely! I didn't think the T440 had a supercharger? I thought the Typhon was more like a T500!?

Having read what you've written again, yes... that sounds about right.

Not online.... Ted wouldn't be happy! Nothing really bad, just an amusing conversation.
