i'd imagine you should look out for the wrath of swmbo and the ticklestick of your friendly neighborhood cardealer .....

Hi,

I am just about to advertise my 2007 Alpine White e92 M3 for sale. It is a Nov. '07 car so still has BMW warranty remaining. Mileage is 12,500 and it has just had Oil service at "Stratstone BMW" Derby. Front tyres were both replaced 1k miles ago following puncture and rears are 3mm (originals!). My car has a very high options spec. including Logic 7 hifi, iPod, USB, comfort access, extended leather, 19" alloys (unmarked), high gloss shadowline, Bluetooth phone prep + telematics, BMW Assist, BMW Assist online portal, DAB digital radio, High-beam Assistant, Park Distance Control (PDC), Prof. Navigation.

Price wise, I would be asking £35k.

Please let me know if you're interested.

Regards,
Chris

Slight change of plan, I am keeping my alpina b6s for a bit longer, then selling it privately then i will get a range rover for the winter and a M3 in the spring.

Thanks for the replys.

Parkers suggests 35K for an 08 plate in a private sale. His has low mileage for its age so it seems a reasonable starting point to me.

Check the tyres, if its got cups on you'll be looking at a £1000+ for tyres in the very near future. Check the 1200mile diff oil change service was done.

As has been said many times with values, a car is worth what somebody will pay for it and guide prices are just that ...... guides! There are so many factors that make 1 particular car more attractive than another, like mileage as sensibly pointed out. My original supplying BMW main dealer, who obvioulsy know my car well, wanted to buy it earlier this year (had customer waiting) and were happy to offer £34k. I therefore believe that £35k private is not too far off the mark.

I think its a fair starting price.

I am still looking for one of these, white the prefered colour with red leather. Seen a few between 30-35k but the cars with EDC seem to be demanding a lot more money, anyone know how much this option was from new?

approx 2k and like porsches with PASM it seems to be the "dealers choice" for lifting the price...
