Mk2 1.8 front brakes

Hi, just wandering what size brake discs (either the 255mm or the 277mm) would likely to be on my girlfriends year 2000 Mk2 1.8i? Its not the sport model.

255mm. The big brakes weren't available until the Mk2.5 2001+.
