Locking without arming the Alarm. Possible?

Off to Le Mans next week, and the first time on a ferry for the T350. Is it possible to lock it without setting the alarm, or at least without the motion sensors (are there motion sensors)?

Press and hold the button.

Indicators will flash twice as normal then a third quick flash. Partial alarm now armed with microwave off. Doors will remain unlocked though!!!

Don't think so.Either alarmed or open.

It is still armed. Try it and press the door button!

Close the door and leave the window open an inch and insert a long stick to press the door lock button the dash (far left)

Bingo all the door external buttons disabled thus locking the car with no alarm.

Arm/disarm alarm to reopen the car

So as you can see the secret is to push the door lock button with the doors closed good luck

Don't worry - I've been taking TVRs on the 36 hour crossing to Spain for seven years now. We must have done over 150 car crossings. We just lock them and alarm them, never had an alarm going off ( even in a force 9) never had a flat battery.

So going over La Manche should be no problem!

Took mine to le mans last year, lock it and walked away no problem, on the way back my car was outside went to the back of the ferry and could see the car great photo op i thought, as soon as the ferry started moving my alarm went off, i couldnt do anything about it, but it started up straight away no hassles

fit a battery isolator switch, pop the bonnet, push the catch down so bonnet can't close, lock the doors, take the key out of the battery isolator, lower bonnet. doors locked, no power anywhere and no alarm.
