599 noise!

Pulled into a petrol station on my drive back from the south to see a stunning grey 599 filling up in front of me.
Now, I'd always thought my Porsche, with the sports exhaust, makes a great noise, but when this one started the whole forecourt was flooded with the roar of the V12 - never seen so many people stop what they're doing just to watch a car start and go. Before this I'd always wondered if the 599 had enough drama for a V12 Ferrari supercar, but I was very wrong!
Very jealous of you lucky people who have one!

Just posted a thread about this on GG. Saw one giving it some down commercial road toward Central London last Saturday. The noise it made was unreal - i'm not usually impressed by loud exhausts but this was amazing! Was light blue and an 07 reg - not a PHer was it?
