Thought that might be the case, but not the end of the world if it doesn't take as it was only a top up. Thanks for teh avice, will get some top soil, and water every night and see what happens. Must be getting proper old when I'm starting to find this sort of stuff theraputic!sjc said:

Last year was rubbish, I cant water it, its to big, this year I was determined, Lawnsand in late March, scarify in mid April, spray selective weed killer (for everything else) in May, cut it every 5 days, at the moment it looks like I paid someone. Ta!
