In these discussions on ride height, I'm never sure what people mean, so thought it would be a good idea if we could post some photos of our cars to illustrate them. So I start the ball rolling with some of mine.

First, here's the car as it was when I first bought it. Ride height 34 or 35cm:


Now here it is in April, the day after coilovers were fitted. 31cm:


Finally, after a couple of months and having settled somewhat, measured today at 29cm:


This weekend I will be raising it to 32 or 33.

IMO 28/29cm is too low. Looks like an old Citroen in 'parked' mode. A little bit higher is nice though.

Mine is riding at between 32 and 35 depending on corner...

Billys and Eibachs.

At a guess its sitting at about 32cm hub to arch??

Looks about right roverspeed. Mine is 32 all round as of yesterday afternoon.

Photo to follow, couldn't do it yesterday as it started to rain just as I got home.

It looks like you've cut/removed your mudguards now?

Too low for them?

Looking out the window at my MK2.. I've just got 40mm springs and can imagine the guards are going to be a few cm's off the ground now.
