Anyone recommend them? ...or not?

Not looking for a name'n'shame, just a 'Used them, can recommend' or 'Used them, can't recommend' would suffice!

Cheers!

Definite thumbs up. Used twice - first was a visit to their office, second just used the mail. Both purchases were hassle free and easily completed. Speak to Dane (the owner) - he's straight talking and a pleasure to deal with.

Recommended.

I presume the " says the owner " is directed at me.
I am not the owner, the owner is a guy called Dane, I am in the Navy based in Portsmouth and as he does his business from Gosport which is close to my house that is where I purchased the said L.V. from.
I should have introduced myself before posting the above so that will serve me right I suppose.

I was joking but with a little bit of understandable suspicion as well.

As a member of several watch forums including this one you would be amazed at the amount of times I have seen newly registered posters post their one post in support of a website that has had a question asked about never to be heard of again.

Its as if vested interests do searches about their companies name and then obviously register and give the thunmbs up.

You have to admit it looks dodgy, no? first post on a motoring website is an endorsment of a watch selling company.

I am sure you would not begrudge us from being suspicious at least you have stuck around smile.

Got any pics of the LV?

I fully understand the above with no problem what so ever. I have been a very long term lurker on Pistonheads and this is one of the few topics that I thought my input would be useful.
I also just bought a White Faced Daytona ( not from Dream Watches as they are very dear for that particular watch ) and I am going to be taking some photos of them on their own and together which I will post when done.
Cheers.

Yea.

Right then, Dream Watches: Spoke to Dane (the owner) about a piece I had for sale. Discussed condition, he gave me a good quoted price, I sent the watch yesterday and he's had it checked out with the cash already in my bank account before lunch-time today.

Can't say better than that! smile

Oh, Dom H, I did mention you said he was a bit of a heart breaker! You guys obviously know each other very well. thumbup
