That's nice, 3 dealers in England, that must mean we're too poor in Scotland to buy McLarens.

I guess so - I've been allocated to Manchester, which is a fair hike from Edinburgh for a service! Will be interested to see how they plan to support "friends in the north"

Proper random site to have it too, not even near the Aston garage, if i think it's where i think it is quite and industrial bit.

Interesting.

The 'Manchester' dealer in Knutsford is actually a Rolls Royce dealership, not exactly the nicest of showrooms if i'm honest:

It is not the nicest place (especially when you compare it to the new Bentley garage out towards Mobberley) but I don't think that has stopped them successfully selling Rolls there for many years.

Knutsford is a great location, just off the M6, spitting distance from the wealthy areas of south Manchester. I'm sure it will do very well.

It is also great news as it means I have a local dealer where I can go and stare at the new motors.
I get the impression that these addresses are just the postal addresses for the holding companies of these dealerships.

Given that the other two addresses are a Land Rover dealer, and a renault dealer.

I'd put money on these having spangly new showrooms in the three city centres.

I think the location in Knutsford is quite good, not only is it very central to the region, but anybody coming off the M6 and through Knutsford has to go past it and no doubt stop at the roundabout its overlooking.

The only problem with it as far as I can see, is that it's tiny, with enough room for half a dozen cars and no real outside storage on site

I would have thought the new dealership in Knutsford would be near the new Bentley place?

McLaren Manchester will definitely stay in Knutsford as opposed to city centre.

Canute Place is a fab showroom and couldn't be better located. I worked there for years and it's ideal for McLaren to start with.

When McLaren bring more models on stream and increase the volume (like R-R) I'm sure they will require bigger premises.

Exciting Times!

The Land Rover dealership in Welwyn Garden City used to be Pillings, but was sold to Lancaster earlier this year.
