Getting ready for my extension and will be looking for the following types of doors:

Victorian style 4 panel oak doors without raised moulding

As above but with top two panels in clear glass

As above but with top two panels in opaque glass

Any suggestions? The main problem seems to be these doors fitted with opaque glass. Went to Travis Perkins and they have the first two but not with opaque glass. Looking to pay £75 - £100 for the solid doors and £125 - £150 with glass.

Any suggestions?

Not sure but have you tried Premdoor.co.uk or B&Q? Ebay may be worth a look too

Howdens should do a chipboard core version for that sort of money,or try Todd doors for a better quality mdf cored version.

I have some lovely solid oak doors that the chippie put in a couple of weeks ago, not that expensive either, even he commented on how good they were.

When I get to work in the morning I'll have a look for the name.

They are pre-finished too, so no staining required.

B&Q do a style which is great. We got them at 20% off so they were £40 each for solid ones, and I also think the same price for glass. The price fluctuates up to £79 at times, but even at that they are great quality for the money.

We got all our internal doors from here. Nice quality, and a lot cheaper than a lot of the other places that we looked at.

How much is not expensive? I replaced all my internal doors, was looking at oak but was always going to stain them and the difference between the solid oak and pine was about £60 per door.
