Just bought the Mrs a WRX imprezza on a 05 plate blobeye model, looking at a exhaust nothing to loud, been told to get a smooth flow? and would like a dump valve

whats the best to go for

OE recirculating valve is the best for performance/engine longevity. Sorry.

Just get a Prodrive tail pipe off ebay.

That's what I did, no performance advantage, but gives it that nice Subaru 'Burble' without being a pain in the arse on a long run.
