Just been reading up on this ship, bloody amazing:
Knock Nevis

Shame it's just been scrapped after such an amazing life!

I was reading about that only a few weeks ago, truly spectacular, i would love to have a job working on that ship, especially the engines!

Fine, if you like steam turbines!

If you want to work on big diesels, newer tankers or box ships would be better - here's what propels one of the biggest box ships in the world (the E-Class Maersk ships):



Turbocharged too (but not mapped)!

That i do, there are some amazing videos on youpube of huge engines being tested/fired up!

Unlikely, because oil tankers are double skinned now. That ship is just too big to make it worth building like that.
