Taimar Question

Hi All,

can anyone tell me what screw thread is used on the Taimar bonnet subframe , the nut that is welded on the end of the bar that the pivot bearing screws into .

I have a new subframe to fit to my bonnet and want to replace the old pivots with new rod end bearings.

I have tried 1/2inch unf which starts to bite but locks up after a turn or so. I also had a 12mm bolt to try but that is the same. Is it 1/2 inch unc ??

Ok thanks , I might need to run a 1/2 unf tap thru the nuts to clean out the threads.
