OK, Ok - It's a Mail story, but if true seems to be an outbreak of common sense. I just hope that the family are prepared for it.

Hmm, that could be interesting - I wonder if they suspect the truth and are looking to seriously shock the public, and damn the Labour party to hell..

That would be very interesting. If they could implicate senior figures in the Labour party that would be very damning indeed. Especially if a Mr. Campbell had any involvement. Then his attempted ambush of David Laws on Question Time would look like a p*ss on Niagra Falls.

My guess is that the family already know what happened. Hence their refusal to talk to the media.

Will the truth out in the end?
I doubt it.

Unless, perhaps the Tory/Libs are trying to stay in power for ever!biggrin
Has Lib-Dem Norman Baker uncovered even more?
He's the one who put it on the line that Kelly didn't commit suicide.

Waste of time and money as there won't be any prosecutions come from it, just like the Chilcott Enquiry, plain to see Blair/Brown lied and should be had up to a war crimes trial at the Hague but they just got off with it scott free.

Say they find out that something wrong did go on re Kelly, they will just say the operative in question is

a) dead
b) on a mission and all this could compromise safety blah blah

Of course Nu Labour had the good Doc iced but I can't see anything ever coming from it.

The Chilcott enquiry hasn't concluded yet either confused

Having said that Blair seems to be made of Teflon.
So you're saying Blair is poison? I'd agree with that!

Will they be able to gain access to the files that have beeen sealed for 70 years?

I don't think any right minded person actually beelieves David Kelly killed himself. If tthey go ahead with this, this is good news.

They can do what they want, even if it came to it, make a new law or repeal the one which would otherwise prevent them from acting.

Who knows, maybe we'll see Mr Bliar before a War Crime Tribunal one day. I can hope.

Forget it; It will never happen. The State will not surrender the truth.

I think you win the most relevant name to post ever.

However, you may well be right, BUT I am ever the optimist and I am hoping that CMD actually believes in what he says he does - and that means that the state work for us, and exist for us, and not the other way around.
