im looking at bidding on a car on ebay that ends on thursday.

now my problem is the car is not roadworthy, and i won't have a towbar or trailer by then, so my only option is going to be with a car transportation company.

so what is the going rate for these? the car needs to go 25 miles.

also anyone know any cheap companies around gloucestershire?

or anyone with a trailer want to earn some cash?

cheers,
matt

I've used these before http://www.shiply.com/
It's like ebay where you list what needs moving and companies bid to shift your item.
Like ebay, choose reputable companies with good feedback.

£1 per mile for a non road worthy car will be the minimum you'll pay.

However most places have a minimum charge. You'll be looking at about £70 quid I'd have thought if you can find a local guy to do it.
