Intrigued by some information the other day - what is the most power these things are putting out. I know 400 is standard and 420 the CS. This claim was quite a lot higher than that!!

Answers on a postcard please?!

That would probably be my claim on Scoobynet....

Didn't realise that it may cause controversy..... the quoted performance was 494bhp.... not from me, but the owner.

The claim was a 360 F1 with an "S pack" (no idea what this is). The car had a midland-ferrari number plate on it, so I'm guessing that this has been modded. Definitely a race-spec exhaust system.

Quite willing to concede that it's a little bit "optimistic" shall we say..... But I was only going on what I was told.

Regardless, the trip in the car was nothing short of awesome! And I thank the owner for such a great experience.

I would imagine with enough money thrown at it 494bhp would be achievable?

unless the S stood for supercharger then im not seeing it. the michelotto NGT cars only ran 430bhp by the very end.

novitec offer twin supercharger kits for the 360 though with max power being 598BHP/453lbft so its definately possible he had forced induction and thus that power.
what a way to waste that fantastic revving flat plane crank V8.....
