D&C Region-"Pirate Run"-21stMarch04

We're off again on the 21st to do the "Pitate Run", something you Le mans boy's missed out on last year.We meet at Endsleigh Garden Center,Ivybridge at 10:00am, then head for lunch at The Jamaca Inn, Bolventor(A30)via Saltash tunnel,Callington and Bray shop, arriving around 11:30am. Depart around 2:00pm for Camelford, Wadebridge, Padstow then on for a beer at the Headland Hotel, Newquay. ALL WELCOME, for those travelling from afar, just get to the Jamaca Inn for lunch.If you dont know the area or just visiting, e mail me or visit the regional website....zz
Hello ZZ. Forgot last nite that TONY (the Tuscan) goes back to Blackpool on Fri 19th to get paint probs (rosso pearl) sorted. Would defo like to go on a blast with u chaps. Me spend lots of time down ure way surfing, drinking etc and know the area and the Headland Hotel very well. You to have sum great roads (not as good as our North/Mid Wales ones) in one of my fav places.

Well I would have been there, but for the nasty crack from my back yesterday afternoon, followed by an extremely uncomfortable night which amounted to about 2 hours sleep. 
Will hopefully catch up with you all next time. Could do with a run of good weather before then.... I need to get out a drive the beast!

Hi Pete, Hope the back is better soon. We had a good blast out today, nice to see Trevor (Chim) and Tim (Griff) again. Wyatt, Sorry you couldn't make it, hope the Imodium is working and you can stop it from at least one end

What a fantastic day under clear blue skies.It started off with a couple of boxter"S"types( thanks for your support guy's}2 chims and a griff but later joined by a 1600M two more chims and another griff.Massive roast lunch at the famous Jamaca Inn then down that fantastic west coast road via Wadebridge and Padstow to afternoon tea at the Headland Hotel on Fistral beach, Newquay where the surf was "UP".Great ROAR, great run.Sorry our RO could not attend, but we all agreed that a sizeable CORK placed in the correct orifice would have eased the driving position!! Thanks for your support of the D&Ctvrcc.Cheers dudes..zzI'm really annoyed I didnt see this thread before. There I was driving around on my own thinking how nice it would be to have another TVR to blast along with, and then I hear all you buggers got together the same day.... grrrr. Oh well, maybe next time. I didnt see this on the the D&C Website. ZZ, can you add my profile to your 'mates list' and email me next time you guys have something planned? Cheers.
Glad you guys had a good time. Only wish I had been able to come along. I did nip out in the Tiv briefly in the afternoon, suffice to say they are hardly built for protecting a bad back. Getiing in and out again was difficult enough! - I feel like a physical wreck.
Oh well, looking forward to the next run.
