1984 1045, 1969 MkII Racing Dial, 2002 Broadarrow

Not the greatest pic I've ever taken, but 3 lovely watches IMHO & more interesting than the Regular Professional too.

That is an impressive collection of Speedies you have there! I love the design of the 1045 ... It looks absolutely mint! thumbup

The 1045 is lovely, my fave of the three I'd say.

My father-in-law pulled out a MkII Racing Dial to show me the other day.

Very nice watch.

I've just got an image of Captain Koons in Pulp Fiction now.

"The way your Dad looked at it, this watch was your birthright. He'd be damned if any slopes were gonna put their greasy yellow hands on his boy's birthright. So he hid it in the one place he knew he could hide something. His ass. Five long years, he wore this watch up his ass. Then he died of dysentery, he gave me the watch. I hid this uncomfortable hunk of metal up my ass for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give the watch to you."

Sorry, back on topic, the racing dial is certainly my favourite of the three.

Ha ha, thankfully it was a drawer he pulled it from.

I'd have been out the door with the motor running otherwise.
