Not been this excited since 6 months ago...
Agreed a part ex deal on the 335i today (did try to sell it on here but got nowhere!)...and bought a..............
123d M Sport Coupe!!!! Seen the reviews and quite looking forward to having a play...
May sound odd coming from a 335i but looking forward to something smaller, fun, more agile and best of all....50+ mpg...ridiculous! Albeit...not quite as fast but in the real world, but quick enough, by gawd....I must be getting old!!
Any thoughts from fellow 123d owners appreciated!! Preferably postive please!

I'm not a 123d owner but I do have a 118d M Sport hatch, or rather the OH does,
We did however test drive and very nearly bought a 123d last year after circumstances changed and we needed a hatchback or an estate (had an E46 M3 at the time)
Cracking little cars, absolute peach of an engine, and fabulous chassis, I really really liked he drive, the only thing I wasn't convinced about at the time was the styling so I bottled it at the last minute and got a 335d touring instead
Fast forward to April this year and we chopped the 335d in for the 118d, as I was never driving it and it seemed pointless paying so much for a car just for the OH to commute in, and I now kick myself more for not buying that 123d, I really like the 1er, even in lowly 143bhp 118d guise it's a cracking car, it certainly feels more involving and more fun on a twisty road than the 335d did
I can't see you being disappointed with the 123, change the tyres for normal ones and you'll be right.
Just to add we are getting 42mpg on 95% town driving and from what I believe the 123d isn't much worse than ours on fuel so you really have got best of both worlds

I had a 335i sport touring and it was a good car, but also had a 120d m-sport at the time.
However I found the 335i a bit dull and went back to an M3, then when it was time to sell the M3 again I could have got a 123d or another 335i and the 123d won. Just a more fun car.
However, I swapped the 123d for an E320cdi estate as I needed the space for work duties and I am looking at another second car and considering a 335i again, but it would have to be a manual this time, the auto with turbos was all just a bit effortless and thus not that much fun.
