they are even licensed for wedding, some of my friends have married there, the food is exceptional and sizewise you could hire the oyster room perfectly- food is excellent - both absolute and value for money, decent winelsit, too
they are also felxible to talk to, if they have space on your date
rooms and Spa are nice and new, too

Grange-over-Sands, we had our wedding here in 2008. They food was very good and they offer choice on the day of 4-5 starters & 5-6 mains. Order taken at the table on the day, no advance ordering or anything like that. Your budget will fit.
PM me for more details.

Is there nowhere specific that has resonance/sentimental value to you, in order to narrow the search down?
Maybe I'm a little bit girlie, but the choice of locations I've been mulling over has been very specific (place of birth or where we live now) for ours...
If these don't apply, what about first place you met? Favourite place you've been (city? Coast? Mountains?)? Somewhere sensible for guests to get to?
50 people isn't going to be the hardest to accommodate in all likelihood (IME it starts getting itchy when numbers go beyond this!), so I'd suggest narrowing it down a bit first
Congrats btw.

Belated congratulations Tom, from both Kate and I.
We were married last year, we would have liked to use this place but at the time they could only cater for 30-odd people.
Having eaten there more recently, he tells me they are expanding their facilities to cater for more people - food is fantastic, as is the decor - Kate fell in love with the place.
