Should brand new cars be supplied with EU style plates?

I agree it is a little odd.... would sort of make sence to have it as a requirement on rear plates...
Why?All my previous cars have come with the EU-style plates and I didn't notice my 1-series hadn't until a mate pointed it out. In the French Alps.
I just had to hope that I wouldn't get tugged for it (and I didn't, despite being tailed by bike cops for several twisty miles one afternoon - man, those guys can ride!).
I'll be remembering to pick up a GB sicker for it next time I go.

The amount of people who specifically said they didn't want EU branded plates was far higher than those that wanted them when I last worked in a main dealer.
I'd reject a car with EU plates. I'm not having the symbol of an unelected back door superstate on my property :b

Yep, we have to order in GB plates as we only do normal plates.. The amount of GB plates we do, probably 1 a month if that.
