Morning all

My brother is about to purchase an E90 320 M Sport, while it has the correct style of wheels. How do I tell if these are original or replicas?

Thanks in advance

Look for a BMW part number on the back? I think replica's tend to weight more as well

Genuine wheels are different size front to back. Quite often cheap replicas are fitted the same size front to back, with cheap tyres.

This is only a quick clue if the wheels are on the car.

There is a big BMW specialist in Kent, that often puts cheap M Sport reps on lower spec cars.

iirc the M Sport badges are stuck on with the replicas, the genuine one's are part of the wheel.

As said before, if they aren't staggered they aren't genuine!

Not so on the badges, both reps and genuine wheels have sticky ///M badges

The ONLY way to be 100% certain they are genuine wheels is to check for the BMW stamp and part number on the inside of the wheel which means removing them
