Can anyone recommend a rad specialist somewhere in the Maidenhead / Slough vicinity?

Apparently you can scratch the engine bay paintwork if you aren't careful when removing and refitting so I'd like to take it to someone who's done it before.

Not a rad Specialist, but 2 TVR specialists which is what you want - radiator specialists are good at rebuilding them, not necessarily at avoiding scratches on a TVR. I'd leave the removing/refitting to a TVR specialist. Try The V8 Centre in Wycombe or Precision Racing near Hurst.

It's pretty easy to do without scratching the inner wings

If you're nervous about it, use masking tape (3 or 4 layers) seems a bit of a shame to give away £50 for undoing 2 hoses and 2 nuts

When I did mine I found the hard part was finding a way to catch all the fluid. Still need to clean the stain off the garage floor where it overflowed a bit.

Duck tape over the masking tape means more dingability to the protected bits too ...
