Which coolant ?

Afternoon, whats the best coolant for the Tam in case I need to top her up, I did a search and saw mention of advanced coolants??

I don't think it matters too much as it should be changed every couple of years anyway. I believe there are different chemical types of coolant but if you pick one with the same British standard 'BS' spec it should be fine.

If its blue/green/yellow in colour its standard monoethylene glycol type. If its Orange in colour it's the other type which has addatives in it, found in most Ford cars and Honda's.

Just don't mix the colours!
Best advice is unless you drain and flush complete system best to stick the same formula in again.
