Im guessing its a 'real' parking ticket not a private clamper?

If so Id have thought youd have had to be taken through the court process before a bailiff could do this

Sounds odd to say the least

Good luck

Got a photo?

If the property is yours (not rented) then I believe it's in you juristriction to do what you want. I would firstly look at if they entered your property trespassing without permission.

Who is the clamp from, DVLA or private firm? I wouldn't have though removing the vehicle from your land without your consent is legal as that would be deemed theft unless there is outstand finance over it.

That's nothing.

Had my leg clamped the other day while I sat on the bog reading the Daily Mail...

Some people, eh...?

It's actually on your property? Not parked half in the garden, half on the road or something? If that's the case then my utterly unqualified suggestion is to chop the damn thing off.

Of course if we're all wrong and there is some bizare legal precedent you'll probably get sent the bill for that too, but I can't see how there would be.

This, plus pics. If they turn up to claim it back you can do them for trespass.

Unless you've been ignoring some rather unpleasant letters...

There must be more to this story? How long did the original ticket say you had to pay? Is the clamp from the same company/authority that issued the parking ticket?

Cut the fker off and dump it somewhere so they get done for littering..!!!

If it's as clear cut as you say then that is unbelieveable.

Call the clamping firm and ask them what it's about? As the parking fine is only 16 days old they are not linked

Cheeky bds,

I would personally cut it off, although they are VERY hard to cut through.
