"CityBeast have created a number of Google Maps to show the location of cyclist fatalities and accidents that led to serious injuries in Great Britain. The maps show fatalities and accidents in the nine years from 2000 to 2008.

Fatalities are indicated on the maps with red map markers and serious injuries are shown in blue. The markers reveal the date and time of the accident, the gender of the cyclist, the manoeuvre being carried out by the cyclist at the time of the accident and the other vehicle involved in the collision."

Seems that a pretty frightening number of cyclists are struck from behind

I thought that too, I looked at my area and thought it wasn't too bad, zoomed in a bit and a few more casualties appeared.

site is fine.

not really many round where I am to be fair. Having said that there are a few outside my work which would be cyclists going round a dodgy corner and getting hit.
