Very interesting. Without looking at the current circuit licence, I seem to recall that the Brands Indy Circuit has a limit of 28 cars!! That could cause a problem particularly where people are hoping to put in late entries. A good deal of these Quaife Intermarque cars are very quick so it is going to be fast and furious. There is going to be a huge amount of traffic combined with a fairly substantial speed differential.

It does grate a bit when they happily ran the ferrari challenge at brands last year with 3-4 cars !!!! good Job Im not there or there would be no space for me on the grid...

We need to pull all the stops out at Mallory to put in some good numbers to stop it happening again.. Its only cars on the grid that will stop this happening this year.

Looking at Lap times, its seems the lack of ability to carry speed through the corners of the tight Indy Circuit hampers progress for the quicker of these cars. Best Silouette times last year were 50.5 secs.

The class A, B and C cars are in the fast class C slower class B territory.

Do I call my insurance company or not...

I think its going to be a friggin nightmare on that track. Not looking forward to it at all. Would I be wrong in thinking that safety is being compromised for the sake of larger grids and ultimately, money.

I raced last year in the intermarque/tigers with full grids and the only problem I had was after qualifying 2nd in the wet. The race was then dry and I got side swiped twice on the start (they take no prisoners). You just have to make use of your mirrors and have fun. There will be battles all through the grid.
Btw I see Rod Birley has entered 600Hp + 4wd.

See you there
