We are a group of friends who all enjoy motorcycling and at some point in our live have known someone who has, unfortunately, suffered from cancer. With this in our minds, our plan is to motorbike around the coast of the UK in June of this year, whilst raising money for Cancer Research UK and Oakhaven Hospice Trust.

Our challenge is to circumnavigate the coast of the UK stopping at many coastal villages on the way round. The trip will, hopefully, take us around 14 days covering something like 4000 miles, approximately 275 miles a day!

We have arranged our trip so that we start from National Motor Museum, Beaulieu on the 27th June 2010; this coincides with an event that Beaulieu are holding called ‘Motorcycle Muster’, our aim is to finish at the motor museum on the 10th July 2010.

We are looking for somewhere to stay in these locations:-

Dymchurch - Sorted
Kings Lynn - Sorted
Whitby
St Andrews
Tain
Lochinver
Lochgilphead
Dalbeattie
Myerscough - Sorted
Harlech
Bridgend
Port Isaac
Paington

It doesnt have to be in these locations, as long as its not too far away, someones garden or field would be good, or a campsite if anyone can recommend any.

Most of us are self-employed and have families supporting us at home for this adventure, but what we really need is to gain sponsorship. We would be very grateful if you could help us in this matter, all money raised goes to the charties, we are paying our own way on the trip.

Our website for more information is www.bigbikecharityhike.com
Many thanks
