As per the title really. It doesn't have to be anything exotic or expensive, but for those who have something fun as a daily driver - what is it?

Does an Alpina B10 count as interesting?

All mine have been daily drivers but the faves were a GTFour Celica in heavy handling modded trim, a Hawkeye STI and an MR2 turbo. All had 15,000 to 22,000 on them per year and never let me down. I was the Shell station's best customer but hey, can't win them all.

Lightly tweaked S1 Elise. Does that count?

I used to have a TVR Chimaera as a commuter car. Then I replaced it with a 600+bhp Nissan Skyline drag car. Stop-start traffic wasn't fun, I can tell you. *rubs left leg while reminiscing*

I used to drive a Renault 5 GT Turbo as a daily. Just a 520i though.. not particularly exciting, but I like it.

Yes to all the above.

I was stuck in traffic this morning thinking how much nicer it'd be stuck in the same traffic jam, but in, say, a TVR. At the same point an MX5 that I see every morning went past. It was a perfectly ordinary mk2 MX5, but still looked more fun than my Blue Oval repmobile.

ETA Should have known you'd crop up Ewen smile Definitely prizes for masochism to you and CW7.

I consider my Land Rover Series 3 to be an interesting daily driver, no journey is ever the same.

Probably doesn't class as "interesting", but that's almost me!
Although mine is a Mk2.5 smile

Ok, mine is more pink than red, doesn't have the BBS alloys doesn't have a colour coded front bumper or extra 8 valves but you get the point...

Less rust on mine though. MOT is next month. Nightmare.

Probably not interesting to some - but I have two:

'94 E34 BMW 525 Sport (manual)
'02 E39 BMW 535i Sport (auto V8) (21 mpg ave eek )

The E34 belongs to my wife - the E39 is mine.

As we both work nearby each other now, we alternate between the two cars.

Well I've had a Honda S2000, a VX220 Turbo, A Dax Tojeiro (replica Cobra) and now have a Dodge Viper SRT-10. The fuel economy is much improved on the Dodge compared to the Dax (hurrah for FI) but the fuel bills still became so interesting I had to move closer to work. Ah, if only I was rich all this would seem amusing... *runs off to do the lottery*

Same as you, Mark 1 (1990) MX-5. 44 mile round trip across the pennines every day!

By the way was the picture taken somewhere in the West of Scotland? Glencoe perhaps? I was up there in April & the scenery was simply.........stunning!
