Hi guys,

Really calling on the PH masses here...

Some friends of mine run a comedy club in Kent, and were asked to run the comedy stage at the Sellindge Festival.

Long story short, the festival has been cancelled at a weeks notice. They have booked several comedians and have switched the venue to still give the comedians a gig and maintain their reputation on the circuit. Everything looked peachy, and then...

Then one of their headlines pulled out yesterday and they need to fill the gap!

They always put on an amazing show and sell out whichever venue they are playing, but they need to find a solid headline act for one of the nights (Saturday).

The other headline is one Milton Jones clap

If you or anyone you know can help out (It is a paid gig!), then please reply to this thread or send me a PM. They are great guys and I'd like to see them pull it off (the show) hehe

Thanks in advance!

Try getting hold of Joel at the comedy bunker he might be able to help if he's that way inclined, they get some pretty big name comedians at short notice to play small gigs so he has a fair few contacts at a guess.

Contacting the Edinburgh Fringe office might yield some leads as well, given their portfolio of contacts.

Drop JAYB a line, I understand he does a fantastic line in Michael McIntyre impressions.

To be honest, Milton Jones is a good enough headline act on his own!

I've seen him a few times, very, very funny man.

Other funny guys - Andy Zaltzman, Matt Blaize, Will Smith (no, not that one), just off the top of my head?

None of the above are listed as having any gigs this weekend, so worth a try?

Might be worth contacting the Comedy Store - they deliver take-aways.

Sadly, I have plans and will no doubt be completely lampshaded that evening.
