What kind of base knowledge is useful for an interview?
My Interview is tomorrow (with Honda) and I've just really looked up a brief history, their current model range, what else they produce besides cars and that they produce more engines per year compared to everyone else.
Is there any other base knowledge I really need?
I've left it a bit late to ask but I'm pretty sure I'll be fine in the interview!

Anyway, back on topic you do seem to have most things covered - were Honda innovators in anything (ie first to market?) I'm thinking VTEC but not actually sure. They have a strong advertising theme so presumably it's driven from the company working ethos.

I would be looking for what makes Honda stand out as a brand compared to other similarly placed manufacturers, and then relating that to why it appeals to you.
The fact that they are such a large and prolific engine maker outside passenger cars is a good one, but careful not to stray off into how you really want to get into jetskis or motorbikes if you're going for a job that will be focussed on cars.
