It's all just spin. They will still cut what they like regardless of any consolation.

One thing the government shouldn't do is give the job of deciding where to cut budgets in the public sector to the overpaid and underworked senior members of the public sector; all they will do is hit the areas least close to themselves, while preserving their own bit. The government should have an independent person or team, separate from the public sector, so as to cull the right areas and not preserve those causing the biggest drain: much of the senior public sector from middle management upwards.

I think that disability allowance can be cut. I base this assumption on the amount of people at my local gym that park in the disabled bays in their chav wagons with personalised plates.

Quite simple. Get one thousand names of people who are owner managers of businesses that are relatively solvent and still trading. These are the people who have had to ride out the recent storm and are also the people who are directly affected by rafts of legislation that cost the country money and provide nothing but a load of red tape for said businesses.

These people would give their time for free, they have a clue and will give the right answers first time. It really is that simple.

Scrap the MP's resetlement grants, they should get the same redundancy terms as everyone else when they loose their job.

I recently heard that Motobility cars get replaced every 3 years, if that is true this can stop as well, I wont even go into if they should have them in the first place.

No some cuts are easy, he can cut £205 billion off public expenditure over the next decade at a stroke of the pen without hurting anybody apart from a few City thieves.

How?

By stopping all the "Climate Change Nonsense" immediately. The City thieves who will be hurt, are of course Carbon traders.

Just for the record TWO HUNDRED AND FIVE BILLION POUNDS. At the stroke of a pen.

Instead the Climate Change department will have to cut a measly £85 million.

Future citizens and historians will shake their heads at the current generation in wonderment at the stupidity.
