HUMAX are "playing" Over the air updates for the 9200 from Today (09/06/2010) at 10am until Friday at 9am. Then updates for the 9300 from 10am on Friday until Monday 9am. The update is the "FIX" for the slow Remote response and an Upgrade to the EPG. It will now reside on the HDD giving an instant EPG on startup from Standby.

Cheers for the heads up, I'll be sooo happy to get this update! (not because those issues annoy me, I don't watch telly, but I won't have to listen to the wife whinging about it any more...)

I went through the rigmorale of unplugging it all a couple of nights ago after smashing the remote on the floor in disgust at it being so slow. frown

Done the update. Seems quicker, usable even, but it's lost about half the channels!

I think in the menu options you can see the currently installed version options, check if it's a May 2010 build.

it hasn't been switched on in a few days so I'd be surprised, but will check tonight.

Seems to have updated my 9200T last night, though I had to ask it to search for an update (even though auto update was on).

It has changed from .21 to .23

If it's an may 2010 update it will have the .23 at the end of the software version. Thats the latest Version.

Is there an easy way of getting this now as mine hasn't picked it up and it's now finished.

As i was typing it just found it on a manually started scan, took a good 5 minutes to find though.

Now doesn't find the update. Time to visit Maplin for a null modem cable.
So does everything work nicely after the update, slow menu has virtually got me to th epoint of scrapping it.
